Celebrating Kerala's Cultural Heritage in the Digital Age

Our temples, our art forms, our literature—these are not relics of the past. They are living treasures that define who we are as Keralites. But in the rush to modernize, we risk losing what makes us unique.

I believe technology and tradition are not opposites—they are partners. Digital archives can preserve rare manuscripts. Virtual reality can bring Kathakali to global audiences. Social media can connect young artists with masters of their craft.

Through my work in cinema and literature, I have seen firsthand how stories shape identity. This is why I continue to produce films in Malayalam, why I write lyrics that speak to our cultural memory, and why I advocate for arts education in schools. Culture is not a luxury; it is the foundation on which we build our future.

Let us be a Kerala that embraces the future without forgetting its past. Let us show the world that progress and heritage can dance together, like the theyyams of our ancestors meeting the algorithms of tomorrow.
